Pre-registrations start for schools in Catalonia

Monday saw the start of the pre-registrations for entry into schools in Catalonia.
From 23rd March until 3rd April, families with children from the age of 3 to 16 can submit their applications for them to be entered into the school of their choice.

There will also be a further acceptance of applications on the 8th to 12th June for the following term.

On offer this year from the Department of Education are 1,009,020 places, almost 16,000 more than last year.

This increase is due to one the rate of birth increase and two because of the arrival of immigrants.
