Hleb gets his Nou Camp dream

At his unveiling at the Nou Camp yesterday evening, Alexander Hleb described the move as “a dream come true. I want to do my best for this club. I hope that Henry will help me adapt to the city and the club.”

Barça’s technical secretary, Txiki Begiristain, described the former Arsenal midfielder as “a typical Barça player - loads of technique, intelligent with good movement. He’s a quality reinforcement and will generate a lot of confidence.”

For his part, new coach Pep Guardiola was more generous: “He’s a very good player and creates a lot of good football. He’s multi-talented, and offers an extraordinary array of tactical solutions. He can play inside, out on the wing, or as a false ‘number nine’. This player fits in perfectly and will surprise a lot of people at the Nou Camp. He’s very direct, and good with both feet,” he said.
