Nadal tastes victory at The Queens Club

Rafael Nadal has become the first Spaniard to win a grass court tournament in 36 years! The last Spanish tennis player to do this was Andrés Gimeno who won at Eastbourne 36 years ago.
Nadal did it in style beating Novak Djokovic 7-6, 7-5. This surprise before Wimbledon comes just a week after Nadal won his fourth Roland Garros Tournament equaling the legendary Bjorn Borg’s record.
Incidently, Nadal is also the first tennis player to win both tournaments successively since Ilie Nastase in 1973. Does this mean that the grass court king Roger Federer had better watch out at Wimbledon? Who knows.
