Monster Jam, the world’s largest monster truck show is currently on an international tour and comes to Barcelona on 24th October 2009 at the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic. After, the tour will continue on to Finland and Sweden.

The Monster Jam show, which is originally from the United States holds over 250 presentations and sells just over 2 million tickets annually. These trucks weigh around 4 tons and are 3 metres high and 4 metres long. The Monster Jam show is totally family orientated and consists of both trucks and bikes driven and ridden by professionals.

Monster Trucks are very quick and have a 0 to 100km time of 3 seconds along with a bhp of between 1,500 and 2000! One of their main attributes is their ability to jump around 30 metres in length. You’ll also see your favourite trucks including; Grave Digger, Maximum Destruction, Batman and El Toro Loco.

During the Monster Jam show in Barcelona you’ll witness two types of competition: A race where the trucks go head to head with each other and a freestyle competition where they have a chance to show off their amazing abilities, skills and spectacular jumps in a limited time.

Monster Jam fans can purchase tickets for the show along with special tickets for the Pit Party which takes place before the main event. You’ll be able to meet the Monster Jam drivers, get autographs, see the trucks close up and also take photos.
