Galician photographer Manuel Outumuro’s work is going to be on show at the Disseny Hub Barcelona which is a museum, a centre and a laboratory. Outumuro LOOKS. Twenty Years Photographing Fashion will be on until 25th April 2010.More than 200 photographs from the glossy magazines, fashion shoots, Sunday newspaper magazines and daily press will be on exhibit for everyone to enjoy.

You may not have heard of Manuel Outumuro but you most certainly have seen his work around in magazines and newspapers. He was born in Ourense, Galicia in 1949 and has had the privilege to photograph some of the worlds leading models, film stars and celebrities. He now lives in the Catalonia capital of Barcelona, a city that has inspired many artists, photographers and creative people over the years and his studio is located in a former 18th Century palace.

You can see some of his work dated from 1990 – 2010 and discover some of the impressive photographic techniques used on some of his work. You’ll also see how his work has evolved as the years have gone on.

Manuel Outumuro is mainly a fashion photographer but the city of Barcelona has also been one of his many muses. One of his many portfolios is even entitled “Barcelona, another vision”.

Disseny Hub Barcelona is located in two temporary locations: DHUB Montcada (Carrer de Montcada, 12) and DHUB Pedralbes, in Palau de Pedralbes (Avinguda Diagonal, 686).

The exhibition is located at DHUB Montcada located in the historic centre of Barcelona in district of El Born, not far from the Picasso Museum and the Church of Santa Maria del Mar.
