Ferguson: “General Franco’s club was accustomed to doing whatever they wanted”

The statements made by Cristiano Ronaldo on his future are still making waves at Old Trafford. The coach of Manchester United Alex Fergurson was again on the rampage referring to the frustrated signing of the Portuguese winger by Real Madrid with statements that reveal new information. According to Ferguson, when Real Madrid contracted the services of Gabriel Heinze they were not really interested in him, but used his signing as a maneuver to capture Ronaldo – its ultimate goal.
“When we sold Heinze we knew what was going to happen, because Ronaldo was a close friend of his. I knew what they were doing. I do not think they were interested in Heinze, and although he is a good player, the ultimate goal was to get Ronaldo,” said Ferguson in an interview with the British newspaper The Times. With these statements, the manager of the “red devils” wants to settle for once and for all the Cristiano Ronaldo soap opera and consider the matter closed.
But before finishing his speech, Ferguson has again continued with his onslaught against Real Madrid. “What is really obscene about all this, is that Real Madrid, being General Franco’s club was used to doing what they wanted and getting whoever they wanted before democracy came to Spain”.
In the same vein, Ferguson has revealed that in his meeting with the Portuguese player in Lisbon last July citing the example of Éric Cantona, a player who was much appreciated by the British fans in a special way by the loyalty to which he showed Manchester United was a crucial point in convincing the overseas player to stay.
The Scottish coach saw both players as different values and stressed on the values that make Cristiano Ronaldo different from any other player. “One of Ronaldo’s less known virtues is his courage and bravery”. Courage in football, as in life, manifests itself in different ways. But the courage to move forward, no matter how much kicking he receives identifies Ronaldo. Few players reach that level of play to win the ball,” he says.
“You have to have the courage to recover the ball but you also need to know how to reclaimthe ball back and maintain it. Ronaldo also has that ability like all great players; Best, Charlton or even Cantona.

This just goes to show you how racist English soceity is… Mr ferguson (with a small “f”) should stop being a hipocrite as he has stolen many a player over the course of his pitiful career (how many years has he been at ManU? How many titles?) What a sad Scotsman… he’s the one who became the Englishman’s B***H.
English society racist? What a joke – Spain is much more racist -they don’t admit it that’s all! Look what happened at Montmelo with Hamilton. Oh I’m sorry it was carnival time
