One of the things most people ask on their arrival to Barcelona is “where are the night buses or bus nit in Barcelona?” The Nit Bus or night bus is a great way to get home to your hotel or apartment in Barcelona after a night out on the tiles. Sometimes the taxis in Barcelona can be a bit expensive or you may find yourself in an area where taxis are hard to come by. This is where the Nit Bus or Night Buses in Barcelona come in handy.

The official website for the Nit Bus in Barcelona is www.nitbus.cat and it has some great maps with good navigation. The only problem we’ve seen is that it’s in Catalan and Spanish.It’s not that complicated to work out either.

All the Nit Bus or Night Buses leave from Plaza Catalunya in the centre of the city and the small map below which can be found on the official website shows all buses and stops that depart from Plaza Catalunya.

The website is easy to manage and you only have to click on the route numbers on the left hand side which opens a popup window to display the route in full along with the timetables for each Nit Bus or Night Bus.

Clicking on the route which is coloured blue (see photo below) opens up a popup pdf so you can see exactly where the Nit Bus will take you. It’s simple and you can’t go wrong.
