Welcome, bienvenidos and benvinguts to Life in Catalonia. The purpose of this website is to be an informative weblog of anything to do with Catalonia. Have you been here for a while and think you’ve found paradise? Maybe you’ve been here 5 minutes and are itching to get back home! Have you had problems with Spain’s or Catalonia’s famous bureaucracy?

I mean, have you filled in the 10 documents asked for, made 2 photocopies of the same along with 3 passport sized photos and then someone else tells you “You don’t need all that”, have you? Well, we want people like you to tell us your stories. Have you had problems with the “idioma catalán”? Has anyone refused to speak to you in Spanish because you happen to be in Catalonia? We want to hear from you.

Do you work in Catalonia? Have you backpacked through the place? There are so many stories to tell about Catalonia it’s difficult to know where to begin. Are you an Antoni Gaudí fan and have fallen in love with his architecture? Good news, you’re in the right place!
