Barcelona Ladies Open 2010

The Barcelona Ladies Open 2010 is about to start and the best in Women’s tennis will meet up at the David Lloyd Club Turó. This year promises a great turnout in both home grown and international talent. The tournament starts on 10th April and finishes on 17th April with prize money totaling $220,000 dollars.
David Lloyd Club Turó was originally founded under the name of Lawn Tennis de Turó in the year 1905. The club moved to its current location in La Diagonal in 1968 and has 11 tennis courts. Many competitions both local and international have been held at this prestigious club in the heart of Barcelona.
In 2003 David Lloyd Leisure took over the club’s management and has turned the club into a reference point within the sporting world and Barcelona social circuit. Saturday 10th April and Sunday 11th April the entrance is free and the rest of the tournament costs between 10 and 150 euros.
