Hamilton sails home in Singapore

McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton sailed home to his second win of the season with a fine victory in the Singapore Grand Prix today.
Lewis, the reigning world champion made a clean start and although he was put under pressure by Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel, the British driver never looked like surrendering the lead.
Rosberg and Vettel were both well placed to finish on the podium with Hamilton but were penalised for pit-lane infractions and dropped out of contention after serving their penalties, handing their spots on a silver platter to Timo Glock and Fernando Alonso.
After a below-par qualifying, championship leader Jenson Button gained a crucial fifth-place finish ahead of Brawn GP team-mate and title rival Rubens Barrichello.
Vettel finished just ahead of Button in fourth, while Barrichello, Heikki Kovalainen and Robert Kubica rounded out the points.
