Woman and a young girl die in bus accident in Horta Barcelona

A young girl of 10 years of age and a woman have died in Horta, Barcelona as the result of being run down by a local bus. 9 other people have been hurt as a result of the crash with the bus ending up smashing into a building. It looks like the cause is mechanical failure at the moment and an alcohol test carried out on the driver has proved negative.

Local sources said the accident happened around 11:50 a.m in a built up area at the croosroads of the streets Dante Alighieri & Conca de Tremp.

The remaining nine hurt have been taken to Clinic, Vall d’Hebron and Sant Pau hospitals.
