>????????chief of Barcelona’s fire service has been discharged from the Hospital Clínico where he was treated after inhaling toxic fumes after an accidental spill near the port on Friday.

The spill occurred at around 9.30am Friday morning when a cistern containing dimethylamine smashed after being dropped as it was being loaded onto a lorry at the Adif cargo terminal.

The fire chief, who was among the first to arrive, was treated at the scene by emergency medics, who decided to send him to hospital as a precautionary measure.
