Spanish Tous wearing “Chavs”
I think I’ve found a Spanish equivalent of a “Chav”. As we all know, the word “Chav” is mainly a derogatory slang terms in the United Kingdom for a subcultural stereotype fixated on fashions such as imitation gold, poorly made jewellery and fake designer clothing (often Burberry), combined with elements of working class British street [...]

On seeing the horrific scenes of Saturday’s premiership game between Arsenal and Birmingham all I can say is that Martin Taylor should never put on a football shirt again. The ferocity and out and out disgracefulness of his tackle that left Eduardo da Silva with a horrific injury has turned the Premiership on its head.
Wenger [...]

Pet shop in Barcelona shows how a boa eats rabbit
A pet shop near Barcelona has been denounced for using a macabre method of attracting clientele. Apparently, the shop had in it’s window display a boa constrictor devouring a rabbit as a means of attracting customers!
The pet shop is said to be somewhere between Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona. Animal protection laws clearly [...]
Spanish hooligans at Montmelo circuit
I spent the best part of the weekend hearing the scream of Formula 1 cars as I don’t live that far from the Montmeló circuit. The worst part of the weekend though was reading the Spanish press and watching the news showing how Lewis Hamilton was treated.
Spaniards are very quick to point out hooliganism and blame other [...]
